Ancient skulls found in shed

WORKERS knocking down a garden shed found a bin bag with 17 skulls, dating back as far as 200 AD.

The archaeological collection, in Toulouse, France, is believed to have been stolen from a research lab in 2010.

A police source said investigators “found a false ceiling and the bag containing the skulls fell on to the floor”.

They were later linked to a burglary of ancient Sudanese remains from a nearby medical school.
