Ackley’s Paul is top of the class

ACKLEY Bridge actress Jo Joyner has given full marks to co-star Paul Nicholls.

Jo, who plays Mandy Carter in the C4 school drama, revealed Paul reminded her of Jake Wood – her on-screen husband Max Branning in EastEnders.

She said of Paul: “He’s a really great actor and we get on well. A bit like when I work with Jake, it’s always really easy.”
