EAGLES TO WARN POCH OVER ZAHA

- BY DARREN WITCOOP

CRYSTAL PALACE are issuing a fresh hands-off warning over £40million-rated winger Wilfried Zaha.

Zaha (below) will be offered a new Palace deal to ward off summer interest from Spurs. And Eagles No.2 Ray Lewington insists the Ivorian star will be staying put at Selhurst Park – with or without agreeing a new £100,000-a-week deal.

Zaha‘s current contract lasts until 2022 and Lewington said: “Wilf’s so important to this club. “The fans love him and, certainly for the time being, he wants to play for us. For me, he’s the best player I’ve ever seen running with the ball at pace. We are lucky to have him.”
