AMANDA Holden dives in to highlight the plight of captive orcas and dolphins overseas.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 47, became a mermaid for the stunning photoshoot as part of a new PETA animal rights campaign.

She urges boycotts of SeaWorld and marine parks abroad, saying “all animals want to be free”.

In a video, she says orcas swim monotonously around concrete tanks at attractions like SeaWorld.

Amanda also tells how animals are given anti-anxiety drugs after gnawing on cages until their teeth break. She says: “The more we understand about these wonderful whales, the more we realise just how disgusting their captivity is.”

Whales have not been captive in the UK since the 1990s. SeaWorld was asked to comment.
