The Who end their tour-ture
ROCKERS The Who have quit gruelling world tours after more than 50 years on the road.
Frontmen Pete Townshend, 73, and Roger Daltrey, 74, have been offered fortunes for a series of global gigs, sources say. But the pair will only do short runs and residencies after insurers told Daltrey not to do two nights in a row over fears about his voice. A source said: “Roger and Pete are done with those long, drawnout tours. Neither have anything to prove.”
