Survey rates Stansted 2nd worst airport
LONDON Stansted was named second worst performing airport in a global survey. Only Kuwait International fared worst.
Stansted was found to have terrible time-keeping for take-offs and landings and had a poor Twitter rating from passengers.
It scored just six out of 10 for quality of service.
Manchester and Edinburgh were in the bottom 10 with London Gatwick in the 20 worst.
London Heathrow, the UK’s top performer came 81st out of 141 airports in website AirHelp’s yearly list.
Qatar’s Hamad International, Doha was best in the world for flight times and customer service.
Stansted said: “We are investing significant sums to provide high levels of customer experience.”
