Sex offenders’ loved ones get docu voice

A Channel 4 documentary is to explore what it’s like to have a paedophile as a family member, using actors to protect the identities of those brave enough to speak out.

Producers worked with families over 18 months to make the 90-minute special, combining documentary and drama by using lip-synched performances from actors.

So everything the audience hears will be real, while everything they see is performance.
