ITALIANS IN SYNC WITH CITY’S ZINC
MANCHESTER CITY are considering offering Oleksandr Zinchenko in part exchange for Napoli’s Jorginho. City have still to reach agreement with Napoli for Jorginho (below), with president Aurelius De Laurentiis claiming the Serie A side have rejected a £44million offer from the Premier League champions. Napoli are understood to want £52m for the Italy midfielder, but may accept Zinchenko as a makeweight in a deal. Napoli were keen on the versatile Ukraine international, who can play midfield or left-back, last summer and new boss Carlo Ancelotti is understood to feel the 21-year-old has potential. Zinchenko, who joined from Russian side Ufa two years ago, is only on the fringes of Pep Guardiola’s squad.
