ASTON VILLA are battling a major financial crisis after failing to go up.

Villa have been hit with a £4.2million tax bill and are under pressure to make payment within seven days or face a winding-up order.
Stars like Jack Grealish are in the dark about their futures, with concerns they may not get paid.
Chinese owner and chairman Dr Tony Xia has assumed responsibility from Wyness and is vowing to tackle the situation.
But he has blown the club’s parachute payments on transfers in the expectation of promotion. And the final payment reduces to just £15m this summer, leaving Villa with a massive black hole.
Their woes have seen contract talks with the likes of Alan Hutton, a free agent next month, shelved and leaves the future of boss Steve Bruce uncertain too.
