SCARIER DINOSAURS
Everyone is talking about the Indoraptor, the latest hybrid of dinosaur and the main antagonist of the film.
It is the stuff of nightmares. Made from the DNA of Jurassic World’s Velociraptor, Blue, this hybrid is a deadly weapon because it can be trained by humans.
One scene shows its claw reaching slowly towards young Maisie Lockwood in her bed, before we see a shot of its monstrous teeth.
Villain Vic Hoskins (Vincent D’Onofrio, right) pre-empted the Indoraptor in Jurassic World when he said: “Imagine, the Indominus Rex, a fraction of the size, deadly, intelligent, able to hide from the most advanced military technology. A living weapon unlike anything we’ve ever seen.” Now it is a reality, and one director JA Bayona is confident will have fans petrified in the same way as T-Rex’s classic, glass-rattling scene from the 1993 original. He said: “I think we all remember some of the terrifying scenes we saw when watching Steven Spielberg’s first Jurassic Park film, and the Indoraptor will take the audience to very similar, hightension moments.”
