Wolves buy Afobe.. but will sell him to Potters
WOLVES are prepared to sell Benik Afobe to Stoke City – just days after buying him back from Bournemouth.
Wolves triggered a clause in Afobe’s loan move from Bournemouth on Friday to buy him for £10million, the same fee that the Cherries paid for him in 2016.
New Stoke boss Gary Rowett wants the striker (above) to spearhead the Potters’ promotion push and Wolves will sell for a profit at £12m. Rowett is also after James McClean and will offer West Brom £5m.
