TICKET TOUT GANG GUILT

Members of a nine-strong gang behind three scam sports tickets websites are facing jail.

Last week Anthony Koukoulis, 43, of Hertford, Herts, and Ricky Huggins, 34, of East London, were convicted of money laundering, while seven others have already admitted money laundering or fraud offences. They traded as Touchline Tickets, Getsporting and Green Pitch Tickets.

Essex Police investigated after 550 victims told Action Fraud they’d never got their tickets for events including the 2015 Rugby World Cup, which alone netted £188,000 for the gang.
