BACK TO BLACK
A home shopping firm part-owned by tycoon Mike Ashley’s Sports Direct empire has swung back into the black.
The Express Gifts arm of Findel plc, based in Accrington, has 1.8 million customers and includes the online and catalogue business Studio.
It went from a £57.7million loss to a near £20m profit in the year to March 30, with revenues up 5.9% to £479m. Findel has begun selling menswear ranges from Sports Direct, which owns a near 30% stake in the business.
