Even more shirtless action in the new series, and dishy doc strips off too
THE latest series of Poldark is going to be the steamiest yet, with fans seeing a lot more of Aidan Turner this time around.
Along with the much-publicised scenes of Ross emerging shirtless from the sea, we can reveal there is a second ocean scene, with Dr Dwight Enys. It comes after Aidan, 34, kept his clothes on series three. An insider said: “This time, things are a lot steamier. Aidan has a rival in the hunk stakes which will set hearts fluttering.” Ross and wife Demelza, far left, also share a saucy sex scene, though Eleanor Tomlinson, 26 (Demelza), said Luke Norris (Dr Enys) will send fans wild.
She said: “There was a scene where Luke comes topless out of the sea, that was one my favourite days.” Poldark boss Karen Thrussell has denied “gratuitous” scenes that “objectify” Aidan. She said: “In the novels Ross goes swimming a lot and doesn’t wear anything. We’ve been true to the books and also quite modest.” Poldark returns to BBC1 on Sunday at 9pm.
