ITV, 7pm Doug is feeling pretty low after Terry made off with everything he had. He’s also racked with guilt over Gerry’s death. “It’s all my fault. I’ve caused enough grief to last a lifetime,” he says. In the end, his frustrations take over and he smashes up a police car.

Meanwhile, Debbie is floored when Joe breaks up with her after listening to Sarah. Also, the search for Amelia intensifies.

ITV, 7.30pm and 8.30pm Johnny is on the edge, overwhelmed by grief for Aidan. So when Jenny accidentally spills coffee on the suit he’s picked out for Aidan’s burial, he loses his temper and tells Jenny she’s not welcome at the chapel of rest. Later there are heart-wrenching scenes as Johnny stares at Aidan’s body.

Elsewhere, it’s good news for Michelle when she finds out Ryan will be sticking around. And Eva catches Simon smoking over baby Susie.
