Cookie’s Fortune
CHRIS COLEMAN’S rollercoaster year goes on with the ex-Wales boss being appointed boss at Hebei China Fortune. Coleman – nicknamed Cookie – succeeds Manuel Pellegrini, who left the Chinese Super League side to join West Ham. The appointment continues a crazy 12 months for Coleman. He resigned as Wales boss in November following their failure to qualify for the World Cup and took charge of Sunderland. But he could not stop the crisis club sliding into League One and was sacked after five months by new owner Stewart Donald.
