Dad of Suzy Lamplugh dies in dark about who killed her
SUZY Lamplugh’s father has died having never found out who killed his daughter 32 years ago.
Paul Lamplugh passed away peacefully in his sleep yesterday, aged 87. He had been living with Parkinson’s disease for several years.
Estate agent Suzy, whose mum Diana died in 2011, was 25 when she disappeared after going to show a house in Fulham, South West London, in 1986. Her body was never found. She was officially declared dead, presumed murdered, in 1994. Paul and Diana went on to campaign for personal safety awareness, founding the Suzy Lamplugh Trust. Chairman of the board of trustees Sir Ian Johnston paid tribute to the charity’s founder, and said: “Paul was a truly remarkable man with phenomenal energy and perseverance. We’ll miss him enormously.”
