Troubling scenes

One of the most shameful episodes of The Troubles in Northern Ireland is the subject of The Ballymurphy Precedent, to be shown by Channel 4 later this year. The documentary tells how the British Army was to blame for the deaths of 11 innocent people, including a priest, on a Catholic estate in 1971. Director Callum Macrae said: “The families and survivors are engaged on a search for truth.”
