PLAYER TO WATCH

THERE is an elite bubble of players – Kylian Mbappe, Antoine Griezmann, Neymar and so on. I love them. They’ll be great to watch, and the battle to come top will be fascinating.

But there are others less heralded that I’m looking forward to seeing.

Giovani Lo Celso (with Lionel Messi, right) is 22 and a big hope for Argentina. He has played defensive midfield for Paris SaintGermain, but isn’t really defensive. He is a deeplying player, a quarterback type. Very good on the ball and

makes things happen.
