Serb wit needs grit to match

SERBIA are back in the big time after missing out on Brazil 2014.

There are scars from the past, however, and issues in the squad. In South Africa eight years ago they finished bottom of Group D after topping their qualifying group.

In the run up to Russia they were cruising to the Finals but stumbled in the final few furlongs before eventually coming out on top.

Key players include the coveted Lazio midfielder Sergej MilinkovicSavic (above), Nemanja Matic of Manchester United and Newcastle marksman Aleksandar Mitrovic.
