Swede dreams for United’s Vic
TONI KROOS reckons Germany have the “most difficult task” in football – defending the World Cup.
MANCHESTER UNITED defender Victor Lindelof says he is fulfilling “a dream” to be at his first World Cup finals. The 23-year old says consistent Sweden, who knocked out Italy in the play-offs, always believe they can progress.
It is their 12th finals appearance and they’ve reached the last 16 in their previous two tournaments.
Recently-married Lindelof (above) said: “It is the first time I have qualified for a World Cup and I am so happy.
“We work very hard for each other, that is how to describe this team. We know what we can do.”
