MARCUS RASHFORD has given Gareth Southgate his first World Cup injury scare.
The Manchester United forward suffered a knee problem during England’s full-scale practice match at St George’s Park on Monday.
The issue only flared up yesterday and boss Southgate said: “Marcus took a slight knock, nothing serious.”
The injury will be assessed today but England are confident Rashford will be fit in time for Monday’s opener against Tunisia, as he travelled with the rest of the squad to their training base near Saint Petersburg.
