ENGLISH fans have bought just over 32,000 tickets for the World Cup – way down the list of the best-supported nations.

FIFA has confirmed they have so far sold 2.4million tickets with 871,797 being bought by fans in Russia.

Nearly 90,000 tickets have been bought from the United States, which is the highest number of visiting fans despite their team failing to qualify.

Brazil have sold 72,512 tickets followed by Colombia (65,234), Mexico (60,302), Argentina (54,031) and Peru (43,583).
