Question is, who will eat all those cabbage pies?

-

FANS looking for a half-time snack will find the only pies on offer are filled with cabbage, or salmon if they’re lucky.

England supporters may be used to tucking into steak, meat and potato, and even Balti pies, at games but at the World Cup there will only be kulebyaka. It is a classic Russian pasty traditionally made with salmon fillets or shredded cabbage. But the good news is they will cost only £1.25. Other food on sale at grounds and Fan Fest zones in host cities – where games will be shown live on big screens – will include sandwiches for £2.50 and hotdogs for £3.15.
