ITV bosses really, really love Love Island.
The launch had 4.1 million TV viewers, ITV2’s biggest ever audience, up over two million on last year. Another million on non-TV devices made it 5.1million.
The show had 2.1million viewers aged 16-34. Only three episodes of Britain’s Got Talent has had more in that age group on any channel so far this year.
