BBC1, 9pm One hundred years on from suffrage, and in the light of #MeToo, Time’s Up and the gender pay gap revelations, Anne Robinson wants to investigate equality.

She asks, have women today become too fragile? Should women be further along the road to equality by now? It’s a provocative view, and Anne is not known for holding back on her opinions, so it makes for explosive debate.

Anne meets women across the country to find out what is preventing them from achieving equality and what they are doing to fight back.

She visits a primary school to carry out an eye-opening experiment that reveals how young girls are still limiting their ambitions. She meets “grid girls” at Brands Hatch race circuit to enter the debate on female sexualisation and talks to millennial women frustrated by everyday sexism.

She also tackles the issue of working motherhood, meeting a house husband and working mum-of-five, and asks why are women reluctant to ask for what they’re worth?
