IAN IS CHAMBER POTTY

-

Salford v Widnes, 7.45pm

SALFORD coach Ian Watson says loan rangers Greg Burke and Ed Chamberlain can have an impact against their parent club Widnes tonight.

The pair have joined the Red Devils on loan for the remainder of the season, with Weller Hauraki going in the opposite direction and also lining up against his former club tonight.

Watson’s side have lost their last six matches, while the Vikings have not won in Super League since the last meeting between the teams in March. Watson said: “It’s all about getting the win for us now and the two new guys should freshen us up.

“Greg leads from the front, defensively he can hit, and he works hard for his team.

“Ed is a different kind of player – he’s a bit silky, has some real talent, and real speed, and that’s something we’ve been screaming out for on the edges.”
