COMMON sense would suggest that if a drug can save lives or alleviate chronic pain it should be made available.

So it is ridiculous that our antiquated laws prohibit cannabis oil in England. Even more galling, several senior Tories cash in on the lucrative overseas market in medicinal cannabis while the Government blocks its use.

There is compelling evidence that children could have their lives transformed if a law change allowed this medicine to be prescribed.

Why should children in this country suffer when those in other countries can be helped?
