Taser seized in school raid

A TASER was among 110 weapons seized in primary and secondary schools in just one county, police have revealed.

The haul of knives, airguns – and the 50,000volt Taser – was revealed by a Freedom of Information request in Kent.

Supt Susie Harper said: “We work with schools and pupils to provide advice on the risk of carrying weapons.” A mum said: “It is so sad that kids take weapons to school, probably as a defence.”
