Irrelevant prince has Ed in clouds
Prince Edward chartered a private jet to fly 130 miles, at an estimated cost to taxpayers of £6,000, when a first-class train ticket would have set us back £250.
Mind you it was a really important event he was attending in Tamworth on Tuesday – the commemoration of the death 1,100 years ago of AngloSaxon ruler Aethelflaed.
I wonder if he finds it weird, aged 54, living in a mansion with a team of servants and flying everywhere he needs, yet being as relevant to modern Britain as Aethelflaed herself.
