Today’s photo shows screen and singing icon Frank Sinatra playing guitar at a gala party held by Grace Kelly, Princess of Monaco, in Monte Carlo. Sinatra and Kelly starred together in the 1956 musical High Society, her last role before she retired to take up her duties as the consort of Prince Ranier III of Monaco. Sinatra was said to be captivated by his co-star and wanted to have an affair with her but feared rejection.
