Boss goes as rail hell bites
THE boss of an under-fire rail firm quit yesterday as 61% of stressed passengers hit by timetable chaos said work and home life had been badly affected.
GTR chief Charles Horton told staff the firm had faced “very challenging times” in a letter.
GTR runs Thameslink, Southern, and Great Northern, and thousands of its trains have been cancelled or delayed.
And 49% of 2,000 asked by Which? said the chaos had hit their finances.
