KABUL BOYS GET BULLIED BY INDIA
AFGHANISTAN were given a Test match humbling by India as they lost their maiden five-day contest inside just two in Bangalore.
Replying to India’s 474, the boys from Kabul were bowled out for 109 and 103 in a total of just 66 overs.
Indian spin kings Ravi Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja (left) caused plenty of problems, but their pace attack was just as potent to serve as a warning for their next opponents England.
Afghanistan coach Phil Simmons called for more A-team internationals.
He said: “There must be a lot more A-team cricket played against the big countries – England, India, Bangladesh and Australia.
“That’s the best way for us to close this gap.”
