Hornets win battle to land Navarro

WATFORD have swooped to sign Spanish right-back Marc Navarro, 22, on a fiveyear contract from Espanyol, for an undisclosed fee.

The Hornets fought off competition from several clubs in Europe to make Navarro (above) their third signing of the summer. The club have already landed £11.7million winger Gerard Deulofeu from Barcelona, and £1m England Under-19 international Bel Wilmot from Stevenage.
