Fat’s entertainment for Peru heavyweight

A PERU fan piled on weight to become morbidly obese just so he could get World Cup tickets.

The supporter was devastated to discover that his nation’s allocation for Russia had sold out within hours of release. But he discovered that places were still available in the disabled section, so he decided to eat his way to the World Cup.

“It meant gaining 25kg (nearly 4st) in weight,” said the fan, Miguel.

“So I bought the tickets and then I started to eat. I got a certificate from the doctor to prove I was morbidly obese. FIFA accepted it.”
