Stingcredible day at the beach

-

A WORKMAN scoops up mauve stinger jellyfish in Malaga after 11 tonnes of the nasty little blighters washed up on the Costa del Sol.

The invasion, sparked by strong winds and unseasonal rain, drove tourists from the sea with 150 suffering painful stings.

One said: “I’d love to get in the water but I daren’t. It’s horrible.”

Tractors were also used to clear the shoreline.
