This weekend’s Great Get Together celebrates murdered MP Jo Cox’s belief that we all have “more in common than that which divides us”.

The millions who took part last year said it made a real difference, meeting new people and making them more hopeful about Britain. Mohammed, from Greater Manchester: An 84-year-old lady, who had never been to a mosque before, came to our Get Together. She said she had been hesitant about coming, but now wondered why – and hoped to come back to future events.
