JUN MORE FOR WAGNER
DAVID WAGNER has pushed Huddersfield’s summer spending beyond £25million by making Juninho Bacuna his fourth close-season capture.
Terriers boss Wagner snapped-up the Holland Under-21 midfielder for £2.5m from Eredivisie outfit Groningen on a three-year deal.
Bacuna, younger brother of Reading’s Leandro, joins Dutch defender Terence Kongolo – Town’s £17m record buy from Monaco – Egypt winger Ramadan Sobhi, a £5.7m recruit from Stoke, and ex-Leicester keeper Ben Hamer as new faces at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Wagner said: ”Juninho is is a young, hungry player who has already played a lot of football.”
