ANOTHER 450 GO AT LLOYDS

Banking giant Lloyds has announced another 450 job losses. The lender said the latest cull, mainly affecting back office staff, was to help it “adapt and evolve to support changes in customer behaviour”.

It came as the union Unite called on Barclays to halt planned job losses in Cardiff and Coventry.

Unite said nearly 400 staff will see their jobs either transfer to Northampton or be offshored to India.
