Fan’s quest for one last match

A FOOTBALL fan is offering £100 to find the final item to complete his astonishing collection of matchday programmes.

Ken Bridgeman, 81, has one for every Swindon Town game since the Second World War – bar one.

He has searched in vain for the programme for their match at Brighton on September 17, 1947.

Ken said: “I’ve gone to programme fairs, looked SEARCH Ken Bridgeman PRIZED Steve with 1966 final programme and Russia 2018 tournament memento through catalogues and spoken to collectors. I’ve tried everything but no one has the one I’m looking for. “I’ll be amazed if anyone does have one, but it would be nice to get it.” He reckons his 3,000-strong collection is worth £20,000 Ill health means he now rarely sees his beloved Robins. He said: “I’ve got fond memories. It’s been a rollercoaster over the last few years.”
