3 arrested in fake ID probe
UNDERCOVER police have arrested three men on suspicion of running a fake passport “factory”.
A Ukranian man, 37, and Latvian national, 36, were charged with conspiracy to supply fraudulent articles after the police operation in Hackney, East London.
A Latvian national, 33, was released on bail.
National Crime Agency Commander Mark McCormack said the arrests were part of a probe into a criminal network “suspected of supplying hundreds of false documents”.
