We’ve bin to visit Bulgaria

A BRITISH family spotted around 50 Derby City Council garden waste bins on a beach in Bulgaria.

The brown bins – with the authority’s logo on – were being used for general waste along the promenade at Burgas beach.

One family member said: “Who has taken them all that way to Bulgaria? It was just crazy.”

Derby Councillor Alan Grimadell said: “Our crews might struggle to make the 1,860-mile journey every fortnight to empty them.”
