Seat snub for mums-to-be
FOUR in 10 commuters will not give up their seat for an expectant mother, according to research.
Some fail to offer as they fear offending a woman who is not pregnant.
Skincare firm Mama Mio quizzed 2,000 commuters.
Natalie Cowley said: “We had expected everyone would offer up their seat to a pregnant woman.”
Mama Mio is urging mums-to-be to ask for seats. One idea was to wear a badge signifying the need for a seat.
