Retire? I will be too poor

HALF of all over-40s plan to work beyond their expected retirement age due to money worries.

Four in 10 wish they had put more funds aside when they were younger, research by the Leeds Building Society found.

Yet personal finance expert Andrew Hagger said: “It’s refreshing people acknowledge there is a shortfall in pension pots.”
