According to a Twitter post, some diet tablets will help you “lose the belly without trying”.

Clicking on the link leads to a fake news site with the headline “£3 weight loss solution that naturally burns fat gets biggest deal in Dragons’ Lair history”.

It’s not the first time I’ve seen lies like this.

Previous scammers flogging Bitcoin investments and beauty creams have made similar claims about how their products have won the show, though they at least have got the title of the show right and called it Dragons’ Den.

This latest rubbish is for something called Bioslim, which spouts pseudo-science about toxins that “pollute your blood and internal organs, robbing your body of important nutrients, clogging your intestines and contaminating your bloodstream”.

Bioslim will apparently not just tackle the toxins, it will “add years of high energy health to your life”. You’re urged to “try risk-free”. But it is not free, or without risk.
