A BEAUTY therapist died after taking slimming pills she bought online.

Shouhong Du collapsed at a Chinese medicine and massage parlour in Worthing, West Sussex.

Crawley coroners court heard a postmortem found Mrs Du, 48, died of oxygen starvation to the brain, multi-drug toxicity and self-medication.

Verdict: misadventure.
