Headers ‘bad for balance’
FOOTBALLERS who head the ball frequently are more likely to suffer balance problems.
The US research adds to fears about headers after ex-England star Jeff Astle died at 59 of brain disease.
The study by the University of Delaware found they “undermined” balance.
