HERE’S a contender for the Grrrand National... Dally the Jack Russell leaps over a fence with a little help from his best pal, Spanky the miniature horse.

The inseparable pair perform stunts and tricks together after Dally, nine, learned to ride bareback. Owner Francesca Carson rescued Spanky, 10, and took him to her ranch in Spokane, Washington, US.

She said: “One day Dally just leaped up on to Spanky’s back. It’s really special to see the trust they have.”
