DRAGONS’ FIRE IS STOKED BY BELIEF

CATALANS forward Jason Baitieri wants the Dragons to finish what they have started against Salford this afternoon.

The French side have produced a remarkable turnaround after a shocking start and have lost just one of their last 10 games.

Victory against the Red Devils will formally secure their top-eight place, and Baitieri puts the revival under Steve McNamara down to hard work and confidence.

Baitieri said: “We’ve realised we’re a good team that can score points and defend well.

“In situations like at the beginning of the season everyone can doubt themselves but you have to work even harder.

“Now we’re the team to beat. We believe in each other and the way we’re playing.”
