Kev gets Burned
KEVIN KISNER did a Jean van de Velde at the 18th to blow a two-shot lead.
With the Frenchman on the Carnoustie course commentating for TV, the world No.33 tried to reach the final green from thick rough, but saw his ball dive into the Barry Burn.
He made a double bogey to card a 70 to share the lead with Zach Johnson.
Kisner (top) said: “To play 35 holes without a double was pretty good.
“I’ve kept the ball in play, done everything I wanted to do, all the way up to that hole. I didn’t think I would hit that in the Burn with an eight iron, but it just came out completely different.
“I only had 150 to carry the Burn. It was weird. I don’t know if it caught something.”
